Bacteriological and therapeutic studies on Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida in bovine respiratory disease at dairy cattle farms in Tehran | ||

| In this study, we performed a bacteriological investigation on bovine respiratory infections. Additionally, the study evaluates the efficacy of florfenicol 30 µg produced by Rooyan Darou Company (test group) as compared to a similar drug produced by Aboraihan Company (control group). Sampling was carried out on 30 calves at two farms with 30-55% incidence rate of respiratory disorders. Nasopharyngeal swabs were collected for culture, biochemical activity, and antibiograme testing from all the calves before commencing the treatment. The calves of the test group received florfenicol 30 µg (20 mg/kg, two intramuscular [IM] injections with a 48-hour interval). Similarly, the control group received the same drug dose produced by Aboraihan Company. All the calves were examined clinically before treatment, and ultimately, clinical index score was recorded for each calf based on Observation Gradings on days two, four, and seven after the treatment. The results of culture analysis and routine bacteriological techniques indicated that Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida were isolated as dominant bacteria, and the antibiogram test emphasized sensitivity to florfenical 30 µg. The results indicated a significant reduction in the mean total value index in both groups after the treatment (P≤0.05), and changes of the total value index showed no significant differences between the two groups (P≥0.05), indicating that both antibiotics have the same effect on resolving clinical signs and the treatment of respiratory infection. | ||

| هدف از این مطالعه بررسی باکتری شناسی گوسالههای مبتلا به عفونتهای تنفسی است. و از سوی دیگر اثر درمانی فلورفنیکل 30% ساخت شرکت رویان دارو در بیماری تنفسی گوسالهها با داروی مشابه مربوط به شرکت ابوریحان مقایسه میگردد. نمونه برداری در دو دامپروری با میزان شیوع اختلالات تنفسی بین 30 تا 55% در میان گوسالههای 2 تا 4 ماه و به رروی مجموعا30 رأس صورت پذیرفت .در هر یک از گوسالهها در روز صفر نمونه برداری بینی و حلق جهت کشت میکروبی، واکنشهای بیوشیمیایی و تست آنتی بیوگرام صورت پذیرفت. گوسالهها به شکل تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش (15 رأس) (mg/kg 20 فلورفنیکل 30% ساخت شرکت رویان دارو به صورت IM در عضله گردن و تکرار بعد از 48 ساعت) و گروه شاهد ( 15 رأس) (تزریق فلورفنیکل 30% شرکت ابوریحان به صورت مشابه قرار داده شدند. تمام گوسالهها از نظر بالینی در روز صفر مورد معاینه قرار گرفته و در هر معاینه سنجش بار ارزشی و رتبه بندی شاخص بالینی ثبت گردید. این عمل در روزهای دوم، چهارم و هفتم بعد از شروع درمان ادامه یافت. نتایج کشت و تکنیکهای معمول باکتریولوژیک پاستورلا مولتی سیدا و منهمیا همولیتکا را به عنوان اجرام غالب و تیز حساس به آنتی بیوتیک نشان دادند. در دو گروه شاهد و آزمایش بین کاهش میانه جمع بار ارزشی در قبل و بعد از درمان تفاوت معنی داری مشاهده میشود (P≤0.05). اما تغییر جمع بار ارزشی قبل و بعد از درمان بین دو گروه آزمایش و شاهد تفاوت معنی داری نشان نداد (P≥0.05). این بدان معنا است که فلورفنیکل 30% شرکت رویان داروبر کاهش نشانههای بالینی عمل کرده و دو داروی فلورفنیکل 30% شرکتهای رویان دارو و ابوریحان به شکلی یکسان بر درمان بیماری تأثیر داشتهاند. | ||
