| سابقه و هدف: درختان تندرشد صنوبر بهعنوان منابع مهم در تولید چوب بهشمار میروند. آنها، نقش مهمی در تأمین مواد خام برای صنایع چوب و کاغذ و نیز کاهش فشار بهرهبرداری از جنگلهای طبیعی کشور ایفا میکنند. هدف این پژوهش، ارزیابی پنجساله عملکرد تولید چوب در کلنهای صنوبر دلتوئیدس (Populus deltoides W.Bartram ex Marshall) و دورگهای آن (P. x canadensis Moench) است که از اواخر دهه 1380 وارد کشور شدهاند. مواد و روشها: پژوهش پیشرو در ایستگاه تحقیقات البرز در شهرستان کرج بر روی 11 کلن صنوبر دلتوئیدس و دورگهای آن بههمراه سه کلن موفق صنوبر معرفیشده در استان البرز (بهعنوان شاهد) انجام شد. این آزمایش در قالب طرح بلوکهای کامل تصادفی با سه تکرار در فاصله کاشت 4×3 متر مربع برای یک دوره پنجساله بررسی شد. از هر کلن، 27 اصله نهال یکساله و درمجموع، 378 اصله نهال اصلی و نیز 194 اصله نهال بهعنوان اثرات حاشیهای در پیرامون بلوکها کاشته شدند. روش آبیاری بهصورت شیاری هر هفته یکبار و کنترل علفهای هرز نیز بهطور منظم انجام شد. در پایان هر فصل رویش، ویژگیهای رویشی شامل درصد زندهمانی، قطر برابر سینه و ارتفاع کل درختان اندازهگیری شد. همچنین، حجم کل، رویش قطری، ارتفاعی و حجمی، متوسط حجم در هکتار و نیز ضریب قدکشیدگی کلنهای صنوبر محاسبه شد. تجزیه و تحلیل آماری دادهها در قالب طرح بلوکهای کامل تصادفی برای متغیرهای رویشی و بررسی تفاوت بین میانگینها با آزمون چنددامنهای دانکن انجام گرفت. نتایج: تجزیه واریانس ویژگیهای رویشی کلنهای مورد بررسی در پایان سال پنجم نشان داد که بهغیراز درصد زندهمانی، در متغیرهای رویشی دیگر مانند قطر برابر سینه، ارتفاع کل، حجم تک درخت و حجم توده در هکتار، تفاوت معنیداری بین کلنها وجود داشت. نتایج مقایسه میانگین در پایان سال پنجم نشان داد که دو کلن P. x canadensis pacher وP. deltoides Marquette بهترتیب با متوسط رویش حجمی سالانه 21/8 و 27/7 متر مکعب در هکتار و تولید حجم چوب 05/41 و 33/36 متر مکعب در هکتار در رتبه اول جای گرفتند. P. deltoides 92/258 و P. x canadensis 92/40 نیز در مقایسه با کلنهای دیگر مورد آزمایش در جایگاه دوم قرار گرفتند. ضریب قدکشیدگی در میان کلنهای مختلف صنوبر در دامنهای بین 63 تا 74 قرار داشت. بیشترین ضریب قدکشیدگی در P. x interamericana و P. deltoides 92/258 بهترتیب با 6/73 و 2/71 مشاهده شد. کمترین ضریب (8/62) نیز مربوط به کلن P. x canadensis BL costanzo بود. نتیجهگیری کلی: تنوع ژنتیکی و شرایط اقلیمی محیط کشت در گزینش کلنهای موفق صنوبر ازنظر عملکرد تولید چوب مؤثر هستند. بهطوریکه در پژوهش پیشرو، کلن P. x canadensis pacher با متوسط رویش قطری سالانه 22/2 سانتیمتر و متوسط رویش حجمی سالانه 21/8 متر مکعب، بیشترین مقدار را در مقایسه با کلنهای شاهد (P. x canadensis I-488 و P. x canadensis 92/40) بهخود اختصاص داد، بنابراین در مناطق با شرایط اقلیمی نیمهخشک خارج از شمال ایران، این کلن صنوبر را میتوان بهعنوان کلن موفق ازنظر عملکرد تولید چوب معرفی کرد. | ||

| Background and objectives: Poplar trees are considered as important resources in wood production, which plays an important role in supplying wood raw materials for wood and paper industries, as well reducing the pressure on the natural forests. This study aims are to evaluate the wood production performance of exotic clones of eastern cottonwood (Populus deltoides W.Bartram ex Marshall) and its hybrids (P. x canadensis Moench) clones, which were imported into Iran in the early 2000 and were experimented in the climatic conditions of Alborz province for five years. Methodology: The research was conducted at the Alborz Research Station, Karaj County, on 11 exotic poplar clones of P. deltoides and its hybrids, along with three successful poplar clones introduced in Alborz province as controls. For each clone, 27 one-year-old saplings were planted, totaling 378 main saplings with an additional 194 non-experimental boundary trees to assess border effects. The experiment followed a completely randomized block design with three replications. Saplings were spaced at 3×4 m². Furrow irrigation was applied weekly, and weed control was maintained regularly. Annually, at dormancy, growth parameters including survival rate, diameter at breast height (DBH), and height were measured for all trees. Stand volume and current annual increment were calculated, along with average volume per hectare and the slenderness coefficient for each clone. Two-way ANOVA analyzed the data, with Duncan’s multiple range test used for mean comparisons. Results: Variance analysis after five years showed significant differences among clones in DBH, height, volume, and stand volume per hectare, except for survival percentage. The mean annual volume increment and total volume at year five highlighted two clones, P. x canadensis Pacher and P. deltoides Marquette, with the highest wood production at 8.21 and 7.27 m³·ha⁻¹·year⁻¹ and total volumes of 41.05 and 36.33 m³·ha⁻¹, respectively. Two clones, P. deltoides 92/258 and P. x canadensis 92/40, ranked second in performance. The slenderness coefficient among clones ranged from 63 to 74, with the highest values in P. x interamericana and P. deltoides 92/258 (73.6 and 71.2), and the lowest in P. x canadensis BL Costanzo (62.8). Conclusion: Genetic diversity and local climatic conditions significantly influence the selection of successful poplar clones regarding growth and wood productivity. In this study, P. x canadensis Pacher demonstrated the highest average current annual increment in DBH (2.22 cm) and stand volume (8.21 m³·ha⁻¹) compared to the control clones (P. x canadensis I-488 and P. x canadensis 92/40). Therefore, in semi-arid regions, this clone is recommended as a successful option for wood production. | ||
