Abstract
Echinophora platyloba Dc.a species belongs to umbelliferae which has wild growing in Fars , Khorasan, Tehran and Esfahan provinces of Iran.there isn't any evidence to use of this plant in medicine.
As of a screening programme on the aromatic plants of Iran we are going to report the chemical composition of the essential oil from this plant which is named locally "Khosharizeh".
